nice spelling ariveretard . look, your buddy didnt have the correct dust mask on and you should be sued for giving him cancer.. i heard about him dying
i do weatherization for a living and i have to say that for an amature it probobly does take a long time for an amature to set up and adjust an insulation blower. Depending on how much time it takes u to actually get the bags of cellulos in the attic it may actually be easier.
Actually probobly a good idea if your only blowing like 10-20 bags.
I came up with a similiar scheme prior to seeing this video but better. I bought 60′ of 3″ RV sewer hose which screws into the tube on a gas powered VAC ATTACK leaf blower. This blower has down the tube exhaust so I removed the pipe that channels the exhaust to the fan and sealed the fan housing with RTV to prevent fumes from going into the attic with the cellulose. I was able to blow 9 bags in 1.5 hours with no clogs in the tube.
My blower is outside on the ground so no need to carry bags to the attic. It’s as easy as pickup up leaves and actually easier. I know they loan the machines but too heavy and I don’t have a truck. I might put up a video showing the steps to make this work. My blower is made by Homelite. Remember if you use a gas blower make sure you know where the exhaust is going!
junk not sure if you’re responding to my post but I ran my blower outside in the garage. I disconnected the down the tube pipe and RTV’d the hole so no exhaust went into the attic. I blew over 40 bags and it was easy and it never glogged.
Ya know, I think you are the type of person we need to weed out of the gene pool. This is a rather ingenius method of doing a really nasty job!!!! Give the dude credit for at least making it fun………..
Wow, I’ve seen a lot of crazy things. This is tops. Now, to make the home even more comfortable and energy efficient install a radiant barrier on top.
Great Redneck method. Some guys use a leaf blower to clean the coils on the refrigerator. Do that only when the Mrs is not home. When she asks “what happened to the kitchen? You tell her that a sudden duststorm came up in the neighborhood while she was gone.
Haha, we spent hours building something to reverse what you just did! (to lay down the pink insulation)
redneck insulashun companee.

jesus what a cowboy method and product.
This video is proof that we have more work to do to rid the gene pool of human turds….what a pathetic example of worthless human debris.

I’d be more worried about the intake. That much dust will clog the intake really fast.
And the exhaust would need to be ducted outside or you’d kill yourself or give yourself brain damage from the CO.

good stuff but most of the big box stores will let you use their blower for free if you buy enough bags

LMAO!
what about the soffit vents?
Hi it sounded good, but then there was no sound, it looked interesting but it was so dark you could not get a clear idea about how it was done.
Home Depot will give you the machine to use for free when you buy the cellulose, you just have to leave a deposit.

LOL this is so funny. There’s bound to be a far better way to do this using tubes and a cardboard box
@icephoenix23 Funny!
It’s Red Green’s son!
