Here is my how-to video on detailing your engine bay. The last month I have been reviving my 2006 Acura TSX and I was looking to do a video. I decided that I should take care of the engine bay since I haven’t done that yet. The engine bay was really in good condition I just wanted to make a video about engine detailing. You don’t have to use the same exact products I use, just use something similar. If your car has a hood liner, start cleaning that by grabbing an upholstery cleaner, then giving it a quick scrub. This will help loosen any dirt that might be embedded within the liner. 2. Rinse the hood liner. Might need to run over it twice just to make sure you got the majority of the dirt out. 3. Degrease your engine bay. I work in 1/4 sections of the bay. 4. Agitate the area you are working on. Really take your time here, you want this engine looking fresh. 5. Rinse the area you just cleaned. I do not use water from a hose. All of my rinse water comes from a pump sprayer so that the water is more controlled. Repeat steps 3-5 on the remaining sections. 6. Blow dry engine. If you don’t have access to forced air, move on to step 7. 7. Hand dry the engine bay. The forced air won’t get the bay 100% dry, so go in and dry the rest with a microfiber towel. 8. For the last few years I have been using a 1-gallon "Round Up" brand sprayer. (I’m sure the same sprayer is sold under several different brand names.)
The black plastic gets a lot of wear when the handle is pumped up & down. This results in little scrapings of plastic being mixed in with the solution and getting stuck in the nozzle. I can only spray for a few minutes before having to take the end off the nozzle and clean out the black plastic crap so it will spray correctly.
Can someone recommend a better quality sprayer without getting into a larger back-pack style sprayer? It would be nice to see some metal pump components instead of "genuine plastic".

I want a somewhat consistant amout of water to come out the sprayer, and I want the hydraulic motor to turn at different speeds depending on how much water I let flow through a nozzle that goes to the motor. Would it be possible to do all this with one pump?

Has anyone ever used this compressor for a paint sprayer or would you recommend this compressor?
I will be mainly use it for a nail gun and sometimes paint sprayer. Most sprayers need 6.5 to 8 CMF @ 40 to 90 PSI.
My only concern is the small tank only drawback with the DEWALT is the Gal due to the size I would need to wait for air to shoot the gun one thing I like was it has a high CFM for a small package.
I can get this brand for a good price from a friend but if this won’t work out my budget is 0.
Any other thoughts for other brand for my budget or what I need to look for when buying a compressor?
Thank you
