i bought an electric airless paint sprayer off of ebay. (it’s a wagner brand rip-off). the directions say i might have to dilute the paint. but i tried it without diluting it (using latex semi-gloss paint) first. it shot out for about 30 seconds ok (not good, just ok), and then turned to more of a stream and then just stopped altogether. so i’m guessing it needs to be diluted, but how do i dilute paint? with water? and won’t that affect the color?

Lawn size is about 10k sf and there are a lot of weed. In the past month, I finished a large Weed-B-Gone sprayer bottle bought from Costco, for a couple of weeks it worked for some spots, but now there are much more weeds growing up now.
In the spring, I used a large bag of fertilizer (also from Costco) with weed control. It worked pretty well, but I can’t find such things any more. I like it also because you can make sure all areas are treated. Weed-B-Gone takes forever to apply for so many weed, and you can easily miss spots.
Any suggestions for products that are easy to use for huge weed areas?

My landlord has now decided the ENTIRE house has to be repainted on move out. 1500 sq. ft. with vaulted ceilings. I have a baby and my husband works 12 hour shifts, so I need to do this as effeciently and as cheap as possible.
First, I have an electric paint sprayer, but haven’t used it yet. Can I use that inside? Do I just tape the way I would with regular painting? Will it be quicker than regular painting?
Second, the walls are all a beige color. Is white cheaper to buy? Will it be easier to cover beige with white? Or easier to just find the same color beige and do that again.
Third, would it make more sense to hire someone off CL to do it all? Does anyone know how much a professional paint company charges for that amount of work? How much if I just find someone off CL looking to make an extra buck (like what is a fair price to offer?)
Last, should I just let them cut into the security deposit and not do anything, since she is suprising me with this request about 2 weeks prior to moving out. How much money do you think they will take for "having the house painted?"
And no…I can’t just touch-up paint, I already tried to ask. Worst landlord I’ve ever had.
